DC Diaper Bank believes that giving a little changes a lot. Fresh, clean bottoms make for happy babies who grow up healthy and safe. And for a mother who loves her beautiful family, this can mean the world.
DC Diaper Bank receives thousands of diapers a month from donations large and small and from many different places. From drives at schools and churches to donations from individuals and corporations, members from all parts of the community are donating diapers.
No amount is too small and will bring big smiles to beautiful babies. DC Diaper Bank is a 501(c)(3) recognized nonprofit and all donations are tax-exempt.
DC Diaper Bank accepts donations through PayPal.
You can also set up a monthly donation to provide a dedicated supply of diapers.
So what happens when diapers are donated?
From the DC Diaper Bank to a mother and baby in need, diapers go through five simple steps.
Step One: A diaper is donated to the DC Diaper Bank.
Step Two: Diapers are added to the inventory.
Step Three: Diapers are bundled by volunteers in packs of 25 by size.
Step Four: Community partner organizations order the sizes and quantity of diapers they need.
Step Five: Families receive diapers from distribution partner organizations in one of two ways – emergency assistance or programmatic assistance.
Mothers and their babies need donations. Bring diapers to DC Diaper Bank or make a contribution using the payment system available below and throughout our website on the left sidebar. Contributions ensure that we are able to provide the sizes most in demand– which DC Diaper Bank doesn’t always receive from diaper drives.
